After you have applied
If you have an e-mail address we will correspond with you by e-mail. Please make sure the e-mail address provided is regularly checked after submitting an application.
We will acknowledge receipt of your application within 5 working days. If you have not heard from us within this timescale please contact us. We will assess your application, ensuring it meets the criteria and all supporting documents have been received. We may contact you during office hours to carry out an assessment. Following this assessment, your application will be considered by the panel at the scheduled meeting. You will receive the result of your application within 5 working days of the panel.
The panel and decisions
The decisions are made by local experienced volunteers. It is important to note when limited monies are available not all eligible applications can be funded. The decision of the grants panel is final.
If you are successful
If you are successful in receiving an award you will need to provide information demonstrating your achievements and the difference the project has made to your beneficiaries. For more information about reporting please see Monitoring Requirements.
Publicising your grant
We encourage you to publicise your grant to help promote the work you are doing and also the work we are doing. Please promote us by displaying our logo and website link on all promotional material for help and support please see Publicising Your Grant.
Change of funding use
Awards must be spent for the approved purpose within the time frame you agreed with us on your application form. If circumstances change and you wish to amend your original project you must write to CCF detailing the proposed change, with cost impacts, for the panel to consider. No work should be undertaken without the prior approval of CCF otherwise it may be necessary for funds to be returned. Please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org for approval.
