Pop Up Penzance received funding from FEAST and the CCF towards family workshops in the lead up to the Man Engine Day in Penzance on 5th August. Pop Up Penzance ran two drop-in ‘Tinners’ workshops in the Pop Up shop on Causewayhead in central Penzance.
We have invested in over 2,000 projects over the last twelve years. Here are a few examples.
Whole Again Communities is a soup kitchen at the Treneere Estate’s community space in Penzance that operates on the same day as the local Foodbank. They hold community workshops as well as distributing the soup made at the workshops to the people accessing the Foodbank.
Battling On received £2,415 for 10 workshops for a 2-day Ecotherapy Taster course for people with mental health problems.
The Albert Van Den Bergh and Jane Hartley Fund awarded Penta Health and Wellbeing £1,316 to recruit and train 12 volunteers to support delivery of their services in West Cornwall and Newquay.
The Saltash Chronicles Embroidery Project received £1,000 from the CCF’s Caradon Area Community Fund towards the project cost of the 100 foot embroidery.
